We are super excited to unbox Derwent Watercolor Artist Color Pencil Set of 72 colors. It comes with 32 normal color pencils and 32 watercolor pencils, sharpener, eraser and a really amazing suitcase box. This box will help you keep your pencils safe.

In this video, we are trying WATERCOLOR PENCILS for the FIRST TIME! So, we have drawn a pattern where we can mix in a variety of color range and experiment the blend of color pencils and water. There is a variety of techniques you can use with watercolor pencils (we will soon come up with more videos to show them) but, in this video specifically, we are using simple technique of layering and blending. We enjoyed the buttery smooth experience of coloring and loved the way bright pigment colors turned out to be. This is just a beginner tutorial with some tips and techniques to start/begin your journey with watercolor pencils

Watercolor pencils are intuitive to use and a great way to transition from colored pencils, regular pencils and pens to paints like watercolors. If you've been feeling like you're ready to explore a new medium, watercolor pencils are definitely a great choice.
