I didn't know until just today that Fergie died in 2014 from cancer at the age of only 62 years old. :-o He was one of my very favorite singers. I still always listen to the Toto "Isolation" album all the time, and it's permanently in my car CD changer. Fergie is yet one more of the great musicians we have lost within the past few years. I hope he is having a great gig in the sky and singing with other amazing singers like Ronnie James Dio and Jimi Jamison who have also left us too soon. RIP Fergie :(

Only recently I’ve known that he died listening after many years “Angel don’t cry and “Follow your heart”. Going to Wikipedia to know something more about him I’ve read this news.
I have to be honest my favorite singer/composer in modern music (rock, fusion ect.) is of course Gino Vannelli but Fergie also remain one of the best singer in modern music I’d ever heard. When I listened to Isolation album I said: “Who is this voice?!” Incredibile high notes without use of “falsetto” ..so “straight” precise high notes. Great voice! We miss you. Thank you Fergie!

Jeff Porcaro, Mike Porcaro and Fergie Frederiksen found a second TOTO band in heaven. They will sing about the angels in heaven and make the girls crazy. What a hard fate for the Porcaro family, directly lost 2 sons. That one has to imagine that this tears one inside. You can still hear the music of TOTO every day on the radio. If the parents or Steve Porcaro on the road are the music of TOTO vim radio and then the whole memories come up again, then you remember how you grew up as a child or if, for example, Africa is on the radio then know how the song was written who wrote it as you are has thought about how to use which musical instruments so that the song sounds good, or how to practice for years, an instrument so that it masters perfectly, all these ausbehrungen. Ever since i got the album 'Isolation' by Toto in the early 80's, Fergie has always been my favourite rock singer. Knowing he was dying when he recorded 'Last Battle, ' makes the song even more poignant than ever, and what a song it is. His voice was still immaculate with not a single flat or a sharp note. That is what makes a pretty voice that you want to listen to, song after song. The guy used to backflip onto the stage dressed in spandex. Respect. Check out the band 'Le Roux' they sang quite a hit song called. 'Carrie's Gone' Fergie was the singer on the album. Check it out its real great 80's rock.

Great Ferg, Nice to see you and Jimmy working together again. Trust me Jimmy can play the Piano and wrote the song, and Fergie has always had that awesome voice.... Great Tune Guys, Nice Video!

Jim is a great composer and love this song. Fergie always had one of the best voices out there and sang this with plenty of emotion. Still enjoy listening to this song after all these years and one of my favorites.
