Most baits say they'll catch more fish, make them hold on longer or draw them up from 6,000 feet. In this case the bait is supposed to skip easily (insane understatement) or be as good as a hollow body from (maybe better!?). Both claims checked out! The structure gill was insanely fun too and Evolution is absolutely crushing it in the engineering and value department. And how about the Pflueger President!?

Digging that crate. A lot of times I don't feel like lugging my blackpack or taking a bunch of stuff. Something more light weight like that would be perfect. The carry handle/clip to keep everything secure is a great touch. Great looking stuff from Evolution.

I have the Pflueger XT spinning rod coming fedex tomorrow. I have the Prez XT to throw on there. Went with the 7’ M/L and have a 25 size reel for it. Excited to see how it fishes tomorrow night 😁 Love the video as always and can’t wait for the after water review!

That Evolution bag is the missing link for my Crescent CK1 build. I already have a Nucanoe Unlimited 12 setup that's rigged to the nines (Blackpak and ShortStak included), and wanted a lightweight throw and go solution. Will definitely be buying this!

Do you guys still feel that the Yakattack Bunkster is a good choice for a lightweight cart solution? The pricetag on that guy is steep, so I just wanted your opinion if it would be worth it for something as light as the CK1.

I use a rubber band on the rod handle to keep the drop shot weight from break dancing everywhere. It's a hack, but it works well enough 😊. Keep well, JJ

I got the Flueger xt casting after you showed it at Icast I had to put it on a Favorite sick stick curious your opinion on the rod.I have used the reel for a couple weeks now it's def better than other reels that cost more great reel for the price
