even better if you use an Erlenmeierkolben, it has more volume in the bottom to react quickly and a tighter opening at the top so it comes out in a stream

This barely blows up. Why do this and add up to your list of washing ups to do. If you really want something to blow up for fun then just shake a fizzy drink really hard and then open it. Much cooler than this.
