happened to have this song playing during a pivotal moment in my dnd campaign, and one of the NPC's turns to my characters one final time and says "I hope you repent for your sins, because I don't want to see you in hell" and then the beat dropped and it was so good

I see this as the theme of someone who struggles to pretend to fit in, fighting the darkness inside of them and finally giving into it and being who they are really are - empty, soulness, dark and devoid of human emotion and feeling.
