Blue Moon Marquee: Live Concert | CBC Music Live

The JUNO Award-winning duo @BlueMoonMarquee performs live at TD Music Hall in Toronto as part of the Tkaronto Music Festival 2024. TKMF is Canada's premiere music festival putting the spotlight on Indigenous talent from across Turtle Island.

The Canadian swing blues duo consists of singer/guitarist A.W. Cardinal and multi-instrumentalist Jasmine “Jazz” Colette who performs vocals and both upright bass and drums. Colette not only commands the upright bass but also brings the rhythm with her feet on a custom foot drum kit, all while singing in her signature honey-dipped tone. Cardinal’s distinctive and soulful vocals barrel out like a raging bull while his guitar crackles with the swinging energy of jazz-tinged blues

Saw this Blues band in Campbell River, British Columbia. I was dancing throughout the whole show! They are my favourite blues band. Can’t wait to see them again.

First of all… how unbelievably talented is this woman literally playing two instruments with every limb and still singing like that, with nothing falling apart. Do people realize how hard that is?!
Second of all…. How could the cameraman not capture more of what she’s doing!!! Would love to see her feet in action a little more.
