Harvesting 90 Pounds of PURE, GOLDEN Honey!

Harvesting 90 pounds of honey. This honey is raw honey, delicious, straight from the hive, homestead honey. I use standard medium Langstroth hives. No queen excluders. This was a smaller harvest and I hope to get the rest of it in a few weeks.

“It’s gonna look violent but it’s fine”, *proceeds to see 60 bees fly out the other side at Mach 3*
I couldn’t stop laughing!

Your dedication to the life of ONE honeybee amongst likely hundreds of thousands is commendable.

I enjoy how honest and straightforward you are about the whole process, even about being stung or the colander falling in the bucket. 😄

Its always amazed me just how confident beekeepers are with handling their bees.
Wearing a full suit but no gloves. Shows he really knows what hes doing and trusts the bees.

No clue why I’ve been binge watching bee videos, it’s almost 4 AM

I’ve enjoyed every second

In my country, politicians do all kinds of stupid things, it makes you angry, but nothing has angered me more than our government's attempt to destroy beekeeping. I'm incredibly irritated when it comes to bees, I don't know why. I'm not a beekeeper, I don't eat honey often, but when someone wants to eliminate bees and beekeepers, it can make me very angry.

Thank you so much for making this treasure video! My 3 year old son is so excited he watched the whole video and has decided he wants pet bees and to have his own honey farm. We’re so inspired, I love the care you take with your bees by cleaning them off when the one was stuck and burning pine needles instead of harsh chenilles. We’re now subscribed and look forward to more videos!!!

My grand father was honey maker too, he used to take me out with him to gather the boxes and then extract them, he had a machine similar like yours but the compartments were spread out more, he also built a electric motor out of a well engine, man this bring back memories thank you for the video keep it up, i know how tough the job is

Thanks for making this video. The general public know how things are done. My son and and I enjoy watching and learning about everyday things.

If someone told me I'd sit for over 20 minutes to see how honey is harvested, (especially since I'm diabetic) I'd have told them they were crazy, but I did, and it was interesting. Good presentation, and a knowledgeable host that kept my interest. Kudos. No preservatives or heating heating is amazing. Does it eventually ferment?

Great video. Towards the end when you cleaned off and helped a bee that was stuck in the honey was awesome! When I saw you do that I liked and subscribed to you channel. A man's character is shown in how he treats animals and children!!

I'd 'upgrade' your extractor by making up some sort of adapter with a hex shank so you could drive it with any electric drill :)

Love that you saved the singluar bee in the honey.

I loved watching you with your beehives and the extraction process. I kept bees some years ago and averaged about 12 gallons of honey per year - which I usually ended up giving to my fellow church members at no charge !!
Unfortunately, moths got into my hives and regrettably killed off my bees !! I never did continue, but had sufficient honey that we consumed over the following years. Thank you, Lord !! 💓

I had a landlord once who kept bees. He kept a lot of his equipment on his screened in back porch.
On the odd occasion I happened to be there, I was aware of the amazing fragrance that space
had. I’d love to smell it again, it made quite the impression on me.

Wes, really enjoy watching you work with the Bees. Due to medical condition I can’t enjoy honey as often as I like, but as you stated biscuit’s and honey is a real treat.

my grandfather about 50 years ago showed me how to do this and the process itself hasn't changed much, this certainly brings back some good memories
