I find myself muttering “and the brown and the beige, and the brown and the beige” all the time.

Co-Op is such an underrated and underdone musical from that era. When Broadway reopens next year I hope someone does a revival! It’s long overdue.

I get chills every time I hear her close the song. Also the earnestness she sings this whole song with. She really gets it's a beurocratic apartment co-op approval fantasy fulfilment song.

Renee Elise Goldsberry is absurdly talented. This is my favorite episode of Documentary Now! ever.

The look on the woman's face when Renee says she has a meeting to be approved is the best part of this bit that no one is talking about. Right at around the 13-second mark. Pure gold!

God, they got the original Company docu so good, even down to outfits and the color grading. Was this supposed to be a send up to Another Hundred People? I was 70% sure but the brown and the beige and the brown and the beige got me. Haha.

The composer for this show, Eli Bolin, definitely deserves to be credited in the description :)
