Activision Blizzard SHREDDING Evidence?

Activision Blizzard is under both internal, and external pressure. The state of California has now alleged that the company (in violation of multiple legal mandates) has been shredding documents relevant to their investigation.

That is a serious claim, and opens up a whole new angle to this already explosive lawsuit.

I've had an HR department ignore me after I explained a manager lied about one of my work quotas one day, and it eventually led to my firing.
This feels normal among most lower level HRs of low wage companies...

I literally started watching this hoping you'd seen Hoeg Law's video first - once again, you prove that you do your research and aren't afraid to amend videos post-filming. Fantastic job, and thanks for all your hard work presenting truth!

If given a document retention notice after a lawsuit has been filed, it is illegal to then delete relevant documents no matter whether or not that is standard procedure.

Half of California is already on fire, meanwhile, Blizzards all like "Hold my beer" and turns themselves into the world's largest dumpster fire. I'd say GG but let's be honest they haven't put one of those out in a hot minute and wouldn't know what that was if it fell out of a clear blue sky and presented itself as such, they would pick up the turd next to it and exclaim "Obligatory poop quest for the expansion, yes please"

At this point they should throw not only the book but the whole damn library at them. This is unacceptable.

I work for a big customer service company in tristate area and my HR does the same shit. My wife and I work for the same company and she was physically assaulted at work by another employee. They shoved her against a locker and threatened to beat her up. She didn’t feel safe went to the main boss of her area and was told let it go. The person who did the threats told my wife she had dirt on their boss and he won’t do shit. So she went to HR and the woman she talked to told her she was good friends with her boss and he would never do that and she needs to stop lying. So it’s more common then people think.

HR protects the company, if something happens at the work place and it is serious, talk to a lawyer first and then HR.

Friendly reminder that Jason Schreier knew about everything going on behind the scenes and the ADL running defense for him wont change that.

“We didn’t ‘shred’ anything”

So they are committing more crimes to cover up the original ones? This is how you end up with three strikes.

Here's hoping Kotick, the tick on the balls of gaming, will end up against a wall for this. Not that it could happen, but one can dream.

Something to keep in mind in the question of if California or Blizzard are lying, Blizzard's initial response to the lawsuit was to lie.

Doesn't trying to burn documented evidence to cover their backs or whatnot make them extra guilty?

That’s one way to do it I suppose. Destroying evidence never turns out well. It will be the same for Blizzard. RIP

In my humble, draconian opinion, if evidence is tampered with, assume the worst

The more Blizzard suffered, the more happier i am

When you work at a company your work e-mail is not yours, you should expect emails to be read at any time for any reason, so I would expect the emails to be archived as proper record keeping.

Oh no, Blizzard is lying again, well anyway...

Destroying the documents is to protect the company and is completely calculated. The charge for being found guilty for destroying evidence is less than that of them being found guilty for what they were initially accused of.
