Public schools at one time did teach firearm safety. What changed that would make that a bad idea? Please be very specific.

She has never suggested that children be “armed“ in class. She has simply suggested that select volunteer teachers be armed and trained at all times.

That is a viable solution.

Disarming the US population because you don’t understand how firearms work is not a viable solution.
