Rory always judges teams and players off one game so reactionary

Burn is a cb doing a job at lb. He'd be fine.

So they lose 1-0 to the best team in all football away. Lose at the last minute to a resurgent and hungry Liverpool team and lose to an excellent Brighton away and suddenly they desperately need a centre half?

Botman and Schar were possibly the best cb partnership in the league last year, theyve had some bad luck against some tough opposition, but they will come good.

Rory the Tory at it again with the fearmongering.

Agree with Rory on this one. Dan Burn has never been a good CB in a back 4, and Lascelles is shite.

The most important position they needed to bring in was CDM because they rely on Bruno too much. ✅

Then in was LW with Saint Maxmin gone. ✅✅

Then it was a LB ✅ (now play him)

Then it was a CB. They missed out on Kim Min Jae abs bad FFP to deal with

First time I’ve ever agreed with him. Dan Burn has reached his level he’s definitely the weak link in our team.

Botman was cb for first goal wasn’t he? Came off his back for Darwin 😂 so burn was cb for 1 goal but I suppose that doesn’t fit the narrative of your logic

Newcastle had the best defence in the league last season…

He is right to be fair, we did need another centre back brought in this summer but hopefully we get one in January as its a position that needs cover and maybe play next to Botman

Botman was the one who gave Nunez a goal, why is Burn getting this treatment? They need a right winger more than anything

Schar is the worst of that back line tbh. Needed an LB and maybe slot in Burn @ CB and see what performances he could give you there

I'm support Newcastle United lose 5 time, by Brentford September, 16 and AC. Milan September 19, and get out EDDIE Howe and Dan Ashworth

Should have gone for Laporte. Don’t care if Botman is left footed, they need quality and depth.

actually as a Newcastle fan, I feel the signing of Tonali may disrupt the harmony and balance in the squad, he didn't seem happy when he arrived and he isnt a central defensive midfielder, which is where Eddie wants to put him, it should be Tonali on the Right, Joelinton on the Left and Bruno Guimaraes as our Central Defensive anchor through the middle, for me he is the BEST Defensive midfielder in the League, bar NONE. However, when Joe Willock comes back, id like to see Willock back in midfield. Drop Tonali and make Tonali fight for his place. I dont like the way, he has just been dropped in the midfield in a league he doesn't know, I just dont think that is a good idea, he needs to intergrate and that level of pressure on him, isnt good, he needs time to understand Eddies game, just like Gordon had to for four or five months first. Newcastle will Still get top 4 and will make it out the Champions league group. No panicking yet. only four games in, I disagree though with the NOTION and NARRATIVE being span by supposed football experts, that Dan Burn at the Towering Height at 6 foot 7 cannot play Centre Back. Ludicrous Comment. Nunez was always going to take a year or so to intergrate with all the pressure on his shoulders, you know what, fair play to him, he stepped up. Good on him, at the price he was bought for which was scandalous, he should be banging goals in and helping to beat Newcastle. Lets be realistic about that!
