I have been using the Nemo Hornet 2 person tent for a year and I am very impressed with how light weight it is and it's construction. I am a taller person standing 6' 3" and about 260lbs. I am not small by any means but I do have some room on each side of me for things like my kindle and a water bottle and other small items. I will say I am about the tallest person that could fit in this tent since my head and feet tend to just touch the ends of the tent mostly because of the angle the walls rise. It handles well in the rain but the material does start to sag a little. I was using this in Alaska during their rainy season and did have a little water seep through the floor after about 9 days of non-stop rain. Even though I did get some water seep through I was super impressed by how well it handled those conditions. I really don't have any complaints about this tent. If I was able to change one thing about this tent I would change the double doors. I always see people using the two person tents for single person use just for additional room. I wish it was a two person tent with a single door. Almost like a 1.5 person tent. Other than that I love the brand and what they do for the community. I appreciate how they use the NEMO journal on their website to bring awareness to other products and outdoor activities.

I’ve had my Hornet for about a year now and haven’t found a fault. I’m in love with it.

As usual with backpacking tents, I’d recommend getting the 2p for one person. Can’t imagine it being comfortable with another person (I’m 5’10” fyi)

I think this is a very good tent. However, the video is far too quick and I recommend to present the set up in a more slow way such that the viewer can follow better step by step.

How do you attach the foot to the ground cloth?

mine is missing the flybar. I bought the tent on ebay listed as 'new'. My poleset is not color coded, so I think it was replaced. Is the flybar essential?

I would buy this tent if they would make in camouflage. I only buy camo or earth tone gear. There may come a time i dont want to be seen..Its a shame such an awesome tent is only available in neon colors.

What the goal of the anchor outside on the back of the tent?

I love this tent. the only issue is the notch in the rain cover. It allows condensation to the head end of the tent. or water from rain. If you have your pillow or in my case i push my bag against the head of the tent to sleep against. It gets wet. No idea why this cut out was used. The weight savings must be minimal

This might seem silly... but is there a guide which details the best way to fold and roll these tents? I saw a NEMO video which briefly mentioned folding into thirds and rolling, but the pattern to do this neatly isn't immediately obvious to me, especially on the fly.

My tent only has one wing clip even though this vieo says it shoul have two. Is this correct for a 1-person? The fly never seems to sit uite right & I woner if this is why
