Ok those of you who are confused The girl ( Lily Collins) is a devout baptist I believe, while the guy is a Methodist they fall in love but it it's prohibited by Jack Hughes (he's a real person yes) Jack was known for being an entrepreneur and being a guy who owned many air agencies. But soon fell to an eccentric lifestyle after having 2 plane accidents that scarred him for life. While the story isn't mainly about him it's about these 2 love birds, Jack being in the film business at the time doesn't allow his employees to fall in love with other fellow employees so, yeah.
