You know, sometimes I wonder why some Japanese bands spell their band names in all caps, but with this band, it seems completely appropriate. They're not Lovebites...they're LOVEBITES. The guitarists don't play guitars; they play GUITARS. The singer doesn't sing; she SINGS. The drummer is DRUMMING. The bassist is PLAYING BASS.

P.S. Now that I've had the privilege of seeing them on stage in Lindau this June I can confirm that they can do all this crazy stuff live just as well as in the studio - even though not many folks here are likely to doubt that. And they make it look so easy - especially Fami: Smiling and laughing all the time as if she was saying she's having the greates time of her life playing that music. You couldn't see and hear that and not feel uplifted. Or quoting Lemmy: "Shake your head, you must be dead if it don't make you fly..."
