Not to mom shame, but if my child was on train tracks you bet your ass I’d be down there getting them to safety. Maybe she questioned her ability to get back up on the platform. I'm not sure, but I don't think I'd take a second to think if this happened.

That baby was too far behind mama. In that situation, you hold your kids' hands, or keep them in front of you. Within eyesight.

So, the mother did not care enough to pay attention to him in a obviously dangerous place. Then, when he falls off the platform and is in mortal danger from electrocution and/or being squished by the train, she literally stands there and watches, doing NOTHING to save him.

I am wondering if she is the step-mother or nanny, instead of being the mother- judging by her apparent lack of concern.

She wouldn’t even pay attention to him, leaving him behind not making sure he’s safe, so he does what he knows gets moms attention, do something she wouldn’t like. And even in that she doesn’t jump down or lay down to reach and save him. That poor boy. I would love him more

I actually LOVE my baby. And since true love is action over words, she *always* walks in front of me or beside me and i always walk on sidewalks with her on the inside and me by the cars. I also know my reflex would be to rescue my baby if she fell not hesitate dumbfounded. ❤

The mother deserves an award for the best caring parent. How you walk without holding the little hand of your other child, knowing that, that is a very danger situation. Not excuse for this woman. How terrible!!😮😢

Listen I don’t want to shame BUT you better jump down and get your child! Or pull them right up! No waiting for others to act! And your child should NEVER be that far from you! I had two children 1.5yrs apart and when I had to travel I put the youngest in a wrap tied to me and the other using that backpack harness!! Tragic things happen so keep them close!
