Sis knew right from wrong, and she waited until NOW to release that video?! She could’ve released that video in 2020 and ended Colleen then. She was doing EXACTLY Colleen was doing.

That whole "i know im an adult and yall are younger, but youre my bff's" just hurts me deep inside. I was groomed and SA'd. Thats how they get you. They take advantage of your age and lack of experience. They know kids crave being independent and will love attention from anyone older. Especially when youre like 15-17. You crave adulthood. Im so sorry to everyone involved. You deserved better and those adults failed you. Im sending all my love to whomever needs it.
And just remember: youre not alone. Find a trusted adult. Parent, teacher, suicide hotline. It does get better. Im 11 years post grooming and SA, when i thought i wouldnt even make it 1 year. There are good people out there and sometimes it takes a little work to find them, but they exist.

To be honest, I’m really upset about this whole thing. I watched Colleen’s vlogs everyday, and her testimonies about having ADHD, anxiety, and dermatillomania helped me so much through my exact same struggles. It made me feel seen and understood. Now that all of these allegations have come out, I feel like I’ve lost a friend. I know this probably sounds so dumb, but it sucks. I feel so bad for those who she hurt and I wish them all the best.

Thank you for covering this, I’m so glad Colleen is finally being seen for the true person she is. I used to be a fan of hers when I was 14-17 and thankfully I grew and aged out of her content. Every adult talking extensively to children online and calling them their “friends” is grooming. It’s inappropriate, it’s wrong and women can be just as predatory and evil as men. I hope this situation can raise awareness so no other child has to go through this

It baffles and angers me that so many "famous" adults see nothing wrong with talking to and even befriending _minors!_
One time when I was 20, I made friends with another animator on youtube. And then I found out they were only 10 years old...! I had _no_ idea, and I was shocked that someone so young was posting content online. It made me so uncomfortable and ashamed, and as soon as I found out, I told them to tell their parents that we had been talking and how old I was - and then I never contacted them again. Because guess what, an adult has no business chatting with kids! It. Is. Not. That. Hard! Even now I turn down DMs and friend requests etc if someone is younger than 21-22, because I have no interest in "making friends" with someone that much younger than me. It's creepy!
