Introducing the 2nd Wave of the LP-Series

Kali's director of marketing goes through the improvements made to the LP-6 and LP-8 for the 2nd Wave. These include:
-12 dB lower self-noise
-3 dB higher output
-Improved HF accuracy

The new versions of the LP-6 and LP-8 are available now. US pricing is $199 and $249, respectively.

I just picked up a pair of the LP 6 V2’s From Sweetwater. My control room - monitor room Is limited in size so I’ve had to install extra bass traps to stop any comb filtering. I had been mixing and mastering with 5 inch woofers because I didn’t dare go to an 8 inch due to the size of the room. The LP 6V2 has been the perfect answer with both the front port And a slightly larger woofer without going to 8 inches. I can now push a little more energy and spectrum out of my studio monitors without effecting the accuracy. The LP6 V2’s are absolutely perfect for my situation. Thank you Kali

Am Listening it in Kali Audio lp6 V2 series and these are best monitors out there in that price range. Product is receiving mad love in India, stocks run out in first week only.

Will need to hear that self-noise reduction myself! I have a pair of T7V-s, and although I like them very much, the hiss drives me crazy. Kali seems to be the first company to be extremely transparent about this issue, and how it made into production (their comment on gearsltz, or similar website.) Really happy, that they consider this aspect of audio performance important. Waitingfor a listen between 2nd wave LP-s and the Adams, and hopefully will have my new pair of LP-6 or LP-8. <3 Love you guys!

Listening to this with the OG Kali Audio LP6 I bought in 2019. Literally was thinking about upgrading because of the hiss. Glad to see Kali listening to their customers with the new V2 improvements.

Been listening to my new LP-6 V2's for a little over a week now & this was definitely money well spent! I listen about 6' away & there's no hiss whatsoever. If I put my ear a few inches from the tweeter it's audible but less than I've had with others. I'm in about a 9'x'15'x10'(LxWxH) room & these have plenty of power for a space this size & stronger low end than I expected. I still ended up pairing with another brand of 8" subwoofer as the Kali sub was a little out of my budget & I wasn't sure a 12" was really a good fit in my room anyway. Curious if Kali has any plans for introducing any <12" subs in the future? Great job on these monitors, really excellent value!

Has the standby mode on these changed from the 1st generation?
And how low is the self noise now (10cm from tweeter like S&R measures)?

Finally monitors that clearly specify low self noise. Shame about the standby mode though, would be nice to have it optional.

Hi guys! just subscribed ! Would the V2 LP6 or LP8’s be okay for my music room? It’s only about 10ft by 10ft in size… I do not do any recording or mixing, I just want to plug my keyboards into my Soundcraft Mixer (in stereo) then plug the mixer to the speakers… I also listen to YouTube music and my normal WAVS and MP3’s, I’m asking all this because I just sold my Yamaha HS7’s, my keyboards sounded awful through them! very “mid” sounding and “boxy” My speakers have to go in the corner of my room, around 8 inches from the wall……. My maximum budget is £500 british MAX - any help would be great 👍🏻😊

I have an old version of Kali Lp 6 pair but there is a hiss noise in these from the tweeter even though nothing is played I dont know why its coming what's wrong with these speakers
