Sarah I 100% relate! I have had very few crushes in my life with one or two of them emerging through pure pressure more than anything, simply wanting to fit in.
This was probably unhealthy to a certain extent, like you explained. I do think part of it was how I’m wired and maybe, in a weird way, a blessing from God to protect me from some of the struggles/heartache so many of my friends went through. You’re not alone ❤️
