Up in Alaska run a Nemo galaxy 2p, still able to fit our mastador and ridgeback in it and the vestabule keeps our packs protected. The air mattress is a must for sure!! Our InReach has saved out butts getting stuck out the road in snow more times than I like to admit, but suuuuper useful. Puffies are lifesavers, even on brisk summer mornings making coffee. TELL ME HOW DO YOU LIKE YOUR DJI MAVIC 2 AIR??

I personally use two person tents because you gain so much more versatility and comfort for little extra weight, volume and price.

Just a heads up for future reference, bear spray is not allowed in checked or carry-on luggage per federal aviation regulations. Same with fuel canisters. It sucks, but your best course of action is to find an outfitter at your destination and grab one and then find someone to donate/sell it too before returning home. Nice video though! I have experience with a lot of the same gear!

How's the no ventilation on the backpack treating you?
Don't drain your drone batteries too much. It lowers the battery life a lot.

The issue with getting your foot wet during hiking, most likely will develop blisters and this what you need water proof materials for. For river crossing, I would take off my foot wears and cross barefoot dry out and wear my boot again and keep going.

Hi @KraigAdams. I dig the hike vids! Curious why you switched from the Peak Design Travel tripod. I have screw-lock tripod. Its pretty hi end Benro. Its good but the screw locks are frustrating sometimes cause you can't tell when they're closed or not and they get kind of slow and sticky. I thought the Peak Design one was the answer. Am i wrong?

Try out smart wool socks, they're very dependable and dry somewhat fast. Higher price point per pair, still worth it to me. Good info, and good luck on All your travels.

If you have been able to check on your bear spray, you are lucky as TSA has not caught on yet, but a pressurized canister is not allowed on checked in luggage. Oddly mace or pepper spray is allowed in 4 oz or under in checked bags

Hi, Love your videos. Couple of comments, don't tell the airline you are traveling with bear spray in your luggage! I use a lightweight umbrella as you mentioned the guide on Kilimanjaro did, works great for photography too.

Learnt that down feather quilt is obtained by live-plucking and is very cruel to birds. I am using synthetic and I don't have complaints.
