Building Scalable Enterprise MicroServices

This presentation is a case study of how we designed and built a highly scalable micro service. It’s half content, half experience, and half soap-box. Along the way we’ll cover some general principles for micro service design; scalability design; patterns and practices we found useful such as CQRS; technologies we adopted such as RabbitMQ; and how we approached sticky stuff like logging, configuration, testing, security, challenges of asynchronous processes, and other cross cutting concerns. Parts of it are highly opinionated so bring your own opinions and experience and we’ll have a great conversation.
