ATS-V has an upgraded intake and no tune on an automatic transmission.

Camaro LT1 is 100% on a 6 speed manual transmission.

Intake on an ats-v with no tune isn't good. More than likely slower than with a stock intake. The other issue could be his ic pump could not be working due to air in the system or its dry so the ecu will pull power to keep the engine safe. Trust me that camaro should not have walked away like he did.

Something is up with that ATS-V no way will it get walked by a stock LT1 like that. Ive raced a few in my Z/28 they kept up better than unless that LT1 got that secret sauce or that thing put bus lengths on it like it had 200 extra HP

Props to the Camaro...clearly won the races, but as others have said something ain’t right with the ATSV. I read on the message boards to never run a CAI on those without a tune. Second thing I’ll say is hope he wasn’t manually trying to shift because that also kills the car. Best thing to do is sport or track mode and leave it in auto. Manually put it in the best gear for the speed you’re starting at, but let the auto shift itself. And as also mentioned ensure the intercooler is properly bled. The ATSV should have been much quicker than that.

ATS-V has “intake & no tune” ... LMAO....owner must love throwing off MAF sensors & forcing the car to pull power! You cannot upgrade an LF3 or LF4’s intake & not tune for it. I hope this owner has read the comments & addresses this. Get it tuned for the intake or go back to stock intake ASAP.

The ATS-V owner needs to bleed his intercooler. Something is not right. The race with SS 1le is normally very close. At least mine was. Not now its 700+hp atm. Anyhow, keep the videos coming!

I can careless if the newest Camaro beats the ATS-V. Next generation Camaro will be faster than this, so speed is whatever. But this ATS-V looks worlds better. That’s a win in my book!
