That scene where she lets Cornelia wear her late mother's veil makes me cry every time. Samantha cherished her memories with her mother, so her giving a piece to Cornwlia shows great generosity and maturity on her part.

I love this movie. And I was already an adult when it came out! . It's really well cast and has a great storyline. Nellie is a great character in the stories. It's so sad they never did Kirsten's story. And even sadder how American Girl got so far away from making and marketing the historical dolls
