What about the irony of having the Privilege of representing you Country. It IS the Olympics, if you disagree, then act by boycotting as many athletes have done. But to go under the understanding of what the Olympics are and then feel “ Dispected, Set-Up?”, and to act in the most disrespectful manner as the National anthem is played?
Do you really think the National Olympic Trials/Qualifiers should alter the entire event for one person, who obviously was offended and didn’t want to be there. Why go to the Olympics at all. If it offends you so badly, this Country, this Flag, this Anthem, why would you self harm by attending.
You boycotting the Olympics would be a win win for you and the athletes who actually are proud to represent this country.
