I was walking through my spouse cheating on me. As an admin pastor seeking God with all my heart I began praying at the church while in this state of devastation and God was answering all my prayers. I began to pray in the morning and afternoon. Twice as much to help others and my prayers were getting answered. God was moving so amazing. I was testifying to other pastors and giving God the glory the whole time.
On my way back to the church in the afternoon after was ready to keep spoke to me and said "You're going to pray and I'm going to answer your could we just hang out?"
It changed everything. Though my heart was in the right place the whole Father just enjoyed spending time with me and wanted to go even deeper than the surface.

My favorite prayer before bed is to end my prayer asking to sleep in his embrace. I feel comfort on another level. Like I had a bear as a pillow. Not a mean one though. One that acts like a dog

I prayed every day for about 8 months, for a tangible testimony I could share with people.
So God gave me one, and after it happened, it kept dawning on me, how impossible it was.
It kept strengthening my faith, till one day I prayed truly without doubting for the first time, and sure enough it was answered the next day, and it was so specific.
Then a week or two later I prayed for a nitelite and the next day one was handed to me in my favorite color. Still works 6 years later, I think the shelf life was like 3 years.

Im just a born again Christian who applies the Word to my life. I pray to the Father in Jesus name with a command about me. We are given authority. We're HIS children, think about that. Though we don't compare to Him in the slightest.
I forgive everyone as soon as I notice unforgiveness. I obey the commandments best I can really, including Sabbath. Then getting rid of doubt was the game changer, though He still answered prayers before just nowhere NEAR the same level.

You can also get an edge by fasting, prayer closet, praying from under the shadow of His wings. I still get answered prayers without doing those things, but it's still powerful for prayer.
