Jambhala - Mantra by Chogyal Rinpoche

Показать описание
Pita Jambhala (tib. Dzambhala serpo) is said to be an emanation of the Guardian of the North, Vaishravana, one of the four worldly directional protectors. Of the many forms of Jambhala the Golden one is the most famous appearance, which is also mentioned in a commentary of the Lotus Sutra.
The Golden Jambhala extends his right hand in the gesture of generosity, holding a citrus fruit (skt. jambhara or bijapuraka), a symbol of richness, wealth and fertility. In his left hand sits a jewel-spouting mongoose, which symbolises generosity.
His mantra is:
OM DZAMBHALA DZA LEN DRAYE SOHA
ཨོཾ་ཛཾ་བྷ་ལ་ཛ་ལེནྡྲཱ་ཡེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།
Chanting his mantra invokes the development of the necessary inner wealth on the path of enlightenment. The practice is also considered to increase the lifespan and wisdom.
