Ruroc Atlas Ronin Helmet - Owner review and opinion

Here is my view on owning and riding with the first drop Ruroc Atlas. My hemet is the carbon fibre limited edition Ronin, only 500 ever made.

I’ve got the atlas 2.0 platinum ronin helmet, and let me say all the negativity ruroc have been getting is unjustified. Too many whining on about this and that, they also happy to knock new upcoming companies as som people just don’t like change and are snobs to brands. Air flow is perfect yes there’s a little wind noise but you have ventilation so of course there’s wind. The fit lock is a doddle, clips in and unclips with a simple tug, the visor has the twist grommets now so it’s easy to swap over. I’m a large and it fitted me perfectly so comfortable. All in all I’d give the helmet a 10/10 and as for Ruroc as a company 10/10

What exactly innovations did Ruroc bring to the table other than the Shockwave? Many of the reviews are not petty but are legit concerns and many if them are safety concerns especially for a $400 motorcycle helmet.

Hey, nice review. I have the core black version. by chance have you found issues with the helmet getting scratched as a result of moving the visor up and down? I have had to exchange mine 3 times now (coming scratched from ruroc) I literally noticed it being scratched after moving it up and down only a few times.

BADASS is the new Killer Criteria for a good Helmet? If you leave out the design and only compare the pure functions there is not much left: The Schuberth R2 is lighter then this Helmet and has NO Carbon Fiber. The R2 has Mic and Headphones pre-installed compatible with SENA Standards. The Visor Mechanism is easy to use. It has Pinlock. It has a wider field of view because there is no Nose-Hill. It has a Ventilation System OUTSIDE of the helmet easy to use. It has security straps in case of an accident (!). It has a Chin Carpet. It is the quietest Helmet on the market beside the SHOEI Helmets.
But good that the Ruroc is badass. :)

Here are my questions: -Does the visor touch top of the helmet when fully open? Is visor scratching side of the helmet? (under the visor). Is Mic and speakers really already in the helmet? are you sure about that have you seen them?
