This is true because I'm currently in the program as an external nontraditional person, but they currently still have it titled as the Dock to Driver program. Thanks for putting this video out because I haven't heard anything about the change yet from the terminal I'm training at. Love how you're always up on the new news.

I did the dock to driver program at the Chicago terminal back in 2014. Wish they had the line haul training back then. The thing I like about the program is that the maximum people in the classroom was 4 not like these cdl school that have 30 people per class. When I took the class it was me a guy from Indianapolis and the instructor. I would recommend it for anyone that want to get there cdl.

I applied for Saia's driving academy. I'm coming in with shy of 6 months OTR experience with all my endorsements, including TWIC. I should be starting on June 19th in one of the terminals in Pennsylvania. I'm looking forward to it. I appreciate your channel.

I got my CDL and all the endorsements through Yellow Freight Academy. I loved the work but, as you know, they went toes up. I only worked there 7 months. The Saia terminal in my hometown has an opening for a City and a Linehaul driver. Is there a place on the app to apply for the Driver Academy? Thanks in advance for your help.

I assume there is a starting pay difference if you start through the driver academy? I am a current CDL holder with all of my endorsements (including HazMat), but have less than a year of experience. Thanks for putting out this information. Drive safe!!!

Is there a 1 year contract for this program. Even if u already have you CDL and all endorsements Out of school a state certified truck driving school?

Do u think its worth starting over? I gave my cdl but no endorsements and 3 months driving experience 53'. Working in the dock for 90 says isnt a guarantee that ill be able to move into a driver position. I was thinking maybe if i held on to my current job and worked the dock that way I could still gain more time in the truck. I didn't get endorsement bc its expensive and i didn't need it for the job I have, im just in desperate need for a job closer. I work nights commute is 1hr 30mins away. Thanks in advance
