The commercial paper is unsecured debt. What tether do is they print usdt, lend it to a shell company and use the debt owed from the usdt to back that same usdt they just lent... self feeding loop backed by itself. It’ll collapse eventually

The problems with contents like these that are against Tether is that you guys don't really have any evidence to back up your claims. Its all just FUD that create fear in the market but nothing really has happened to Tether!

for the record Tether USDT is under fire in a lawsuit which can be won be Tether since it was attacked for the use of assets as value. The attacker is implying a stabelcoin to be built on solid grounds instead of speculative assets. But gold can be seen as a speculative asset so the case is already won in my opinion.

You do realize that commercial paper is one of the safest investments, it’s a cash equivalent because it can be turned into liquid easily

Tether stop minting coins since June 10th which will cause bitcoin to go lower as more people will get out of the market. When bitcoin hits $18k the whole system will collapse because exchanges won't have enough liquidity as it is very difficult to convert USDT back into USD because tether doesn't have cash on hand thereby decimating the value of bitcoin, or in some cases being worthless if you keep the currency in an exchange and undergo voluntary administration aka bankruptcy.

You need to be careful in the crypto industry at all times. But if you look at other stable coins, you will understand that usdt is backed by usd to a greater extent than other stable coins.
