Ame says there are people who think her chronic hiccups can be a sign of something serious. I think the majority of us can see chronic hiccups is not a normal thing. If not a worst case scenario (which I won't say since I have to draw the line on fear mongering), something is obviously not agreeing with her body (i.e., inflammation of some kind). If this happened to me personally, I'd switch my diet to very few steamed and organic plant-based staples (e.g., potatoes, rice, veggies, nuts, seeds, avocados and other fresh-cut fruit) for at least a month and see if any symptoms improve. The fewer options the better to allow for process of elimination, and no overeating or over-stressing with other activities, of course. Proper water-fasting, resting and unplugging from the world circus would be my go-to for a hard reset if all else fails (which isn't recommended if she needs the energy to continue her vtuber duties).

Is our detective stuck in the denial stage of grief? Leave a comment below and share your thoughts. .

Sand, air, tears, her own saliva
Ame is a true gourmet

It could honestly be a tic, as well.

I had similar chronic hiccups that were randomly spaced out like that and I was told it was possibly a tic so she might have something similar. Hiccup tics aren't all that uncommon either.

Kiara: "Although, I guess you could try to fry air..."
Watson: *immediately orders air fryer on Amazon*

*Amelia* : "Air tastes good!"
Has kind of the same energy as *Kaguya's* "Breaking is fun.".

speculating is dumb she should just go see a doctor, gastroenterologist more likely.

Fried Air, now isn't that what a pure American would propose, free as f, only needs oil n breading, then tada, instant cholesterol

I can actually confirm this, when I feel like I have a burp stuck, I swallow a bunch of air to try to force the burp out, a side effect of doing so is hiccups. Although in my case they're pretty violent compared to Ame's squeaks.

Ah so this is what you use an air fryer for

Instead of dumb speculations and people playing doctor in the comments section, she should get it checked regardless. Health always must come first.

people who own air friers: *My time has come*

there is a guy who suffered a head injury which disabled his stop hiccupping response, so he had hiccups for 40 years.

I'm more concerned that they're playing chess again.
Never in my life have I been so glad to miss a stream I don't want to be in pain anymore...

Let me confirm, because I have the same problem (not as often): We are too stupid to breath!

It’s ok, I breath in water when I drink and then cough for a minute.

But that’s just a theory - an Ame theory!
