Thats why only buy the normal bullion. It allows one to sell in a hurry.

I think that sometimes we get so comfortable with the idea that gold is money that we forget that coin shops are not banks and they are not obligated to exchange your gold for a specific amount of money--or at all. No one should set themselves up so that if they experience a personal emergency that they would immediately need to sell gold. Folks need cash to cover immediate personal needs.

It's like going to sell your car back to a dealership, they will always offer you way below market value. I always tell my friends if tgey want to sell their gold ask me I will pay more than a gold shop and I'm happppy to buy it off of them for tge true value of the coin. Never take a loss on a premium gold gold, with the internet now it's so easy to list it online and get the price tgat the coin deserves.

You'll never get "collector" values from anyone but the person who wants that exact piece. Thats why I stack bullion.

After getting a quote at the dealers I've come to the conclusion that my "fun" stack is supposed to be fun. Just like collecting pokemon cards and price them at melt on the paper.
