I’m betting we’ll be getting a bigger look (and maybe an official trailer) durin Worlds, probably alongside other game trailers and Arcane Season 2 trailer. And I’m not surprised they went Free to Play, that has always been Riot’s MO asides from the Riot Forge projects. Also won’t be surprised if this has very fair pricing and monetary systems like Legends of Runeterra, since it’s worth it to be at a loss with these games to get more people to play them and maybe also trainsition to League. League literally makes so much money for them that they can afford to be generous in their other games.

The dev blog with goals and guardrails, and the immense amount of work going into combining story and gameplay has made this the most excited I have ever been for anything related to fighting games. I am so hype for Illaoi and I pray to god that the team puts out more posts like they did for her.
