The one interesting thing about them is the symbiosis between Demons and Onis in Kamigawa were the 2 types actually worked with each other. IIRC the demons tended to have negative effects unless you controlled an ogre and some ogres needed a demon on the field to use their effect.

And i was about to ask what's the difference between the two.The answer is fairly dissapointing.
