Recently found your channel having just started as a PM, some fantastic content that I'm slowly working through to get me up to speed and on my way to being a great PM! Thanks!

This is really amazing. You made it quite simple.

Great register. Personally, I prefer the term probability over likelyhood, it's more concrete as a term and one that favours a percentage value int he subconcious... it also means that, instead of heat map, you can use the term Probability Impact Grid (PIG).
Date Capture - I find is usefull but less relevant of Date event likley to occur which will inform on Proximity
Love and agree with your views on Risk owner!
Pre, Current and post mitigation scores - also know as Inherent, residual and target.
I'd personally have the drop down to show as the text description and not the numerical value and have that calcualte behind the scens. It removes the dependencie to people having to refer the the legend and avoids 'accidental' on shared logs.
Love the review Dates!!
I also like to try aim for quantative risk impacts over qualitative and try get PM's to cost the risk impact... not easy to get them to do so until I explain its a best estimate on resource cost to fix.

Great video as ever!

I am new to the PM world. These videos have been beneficial, and I love your content. Do you have a video on developing a Project Masterlist? I am currently trying to make one. I want a quick snapshot of the projects, including budget information (over multiple years). Do you have any suggestions? Maybe you have a video that covers this that goes by another name.

Great video, thanks. I have a query regarding why a stand-alone risk register would be required, if continually measuring actions driven by a solid timing plan? (By the way, this is not a criticism, I’m genuinely interested) when I review timing and project actions tri-weekly, risks are identified within the actions log, and are highlighted and actioned as a sub-action to the original action - this will identify the owner(s) of the risk and prompt a plan to be made to mitigate appropriately. I’m clearly missing something, possibly that it’s not required for my line of work (automotive engineering projects) or it’s a tool that I’m not utilising and should be? Thanks again.
