The first time I saw a silver/gold chessboard was when my family and I randomly wandered into a chess store when we were on vacation in Crete in 1998;
I was like "wooow that looks so cool!", and I have been fascinated by those kinds of chessboards ever since then, lol.

I have 2 of these. I bought them while stationed overseas in Korea. Many games played on this board with my fellow soldiers.
