The art industry is such bullshit, you can spend $40, 000 a year for college, bust your ass drawing every single day, and pray to score an internship at even a small studio. OR have average art skills and nail an internship at a huge studio at age 16 simply because you know the right people. Nice.

I was a talented kid, i come from an artistic family, and i had connections.
This is so relatable Sony. It really inspires me to pursue this career.

Not.

I love seeing women succeeding in the animation industry. This combined with a 2D smurfs movie, it's really starting to make me gain respect for Sony Animation :)

Honestly not to be rude but if you want to motivate people use underdogs who succeded through pure merit, not priviledged girls with daddy connections

Nice but never will work for you Sony pictures animation after making the most pointless film ever aka the emoji movie.

The animation counselor at my college suggested I jump ship and switch majors...keep in mind, I was one of the better students lol. SHe said the industry and future job outlook looks piss poor and I'm better off making art as a hobby or trying to publish somoething self-made sometime down the line. Anywwyas, I'm in nursing school now. I never had any connections

a lot of butt hurt haters up in these comments. EVERY job in EVERY industry comes from connections. But success comes from talent. If this girl didn't have it then she would not have gotten far.
