In Search of Dark Matter- Prof. Quentin Parker (HASSE Motivational Webinar-4)
The motivational webinar held by HASSE on June 6, 2020. Prof. Parker worked at the Australian Astronomical Observatory until 2015 and has started teaching at the University of Hong Kong since. He currently directs the Laboratory for Space Research and has established a world-leading group in late-stage stellar evolution that includes post-AGB stars, planetary nebulae, and massive star ejecta. Come to know the power of dark matter, and HKU’s x-ray satellite launch plan to look for it!
