Hello and welcome to another video of ours in which we are showing Lion Steel knives. This time we have a Daghetta aluminum foldable knife. It was made in Maniago in Italy; very famous city in Italy, where the knife making is the core business.

This particular knife is made by Lion Steel and was designed by MAX; Massimo Salice Sanna designer. The knife comes with a English instruction, a manual, this also carries all the warranty information, it is also quality certificate. It gives explanation about Maniago quality, because there is a special quality of all the knives, which comes from Maniago. It also carries some information about materials used for this knife. As you can see, the knife is foldable. It offers thumb-stud for one-hand opening. It is a little bit harder; you have to get used of it. As you can see, it has a spear-point blade, almost symmetrical. It has an axis lock, Lion Steel calls it T.O.L. Tactical Operational Lock-system. That means, you have to squeeze in, to unlock it, like this, now it is unlocked. Basically this is an advanced locking system, but also highly functional.

The knife is 19.0 cm long, it has a blade of 8.0 cm and the blade thickness of approximately 3.0 mm. It weight 120 grams, it is really light, and you can see the main feature is also the nice design. The design is really something special. The handle is made of aluminum, but it also can be made of G10 or carbon fiber. The material used for the blade is tool steel D2, you can see it is written here. You can also see here MAX design. This tool steel is care-free; you are care free about maintenance and care, and it is high quality steel for blades. The handle is like we said made of aluminum and has a nice 3-dimensional shape. It also has a belt-clip, which can be either on this side, or on the other side. And it also has a sling hole at the end.

If we make a short summary; this is really nice knife with a folding blade and I think if will special suitable for all of those who are looking a nicely designed knife, which are different than many others on the market. And you also, even by looking it or feeling it, see the high quality of finish, and that there was a really a lot of effort invested in production of this knife; since everything is well done and on high quality level.

Looks like a decent knife. I received one in the mail this weekend. :)

yeah I bought the g10 edition and I'm not real pleased there is no way to tighten the pivot screws so the blade wobbles back and forth I've had the knife for 6 months and never have carried it for that reason.Any info on going about tightening the pivot?
