Hot take: Atraxa is a lot less powerful than what people make her out to be. She's got good keyword soup, is a great color combo, and has a great effect, yes. But the thing that holds her back is that she's slow. She generates passive value, yes, but that unfortunately doesn't cut it at the higher levels of play. The strength she is notorious for is more accurately attributed to the decks she helms, not her in and of herself. An Atraxa deck can be run as an Ishai/Reyhan or Ishai/Ikra Shidiqi deck with the exact same cards and feel little to no difference in play.

I think she is pretty fair. the commanders I think of have one or more of the following things and they have it too efficient/easy:
1. Card advantage/draw.
2. mana advantage.
3. Easy to combo with.

So I think things like tharios, yuriko, azami

First and only commander deck I have built is an atraxa +1/+1 counters deck and it certainly isn’t the most optimized but damn if it isn’t insanely deadly even with atraxa in the command zone

This might be just me, but I find Araumi of the Death Tide to an absolutely busted commander. Let her stay on the BF and she will ruin your plans with encore tiggers. Add effects like Dial of the Infinate or Teferi;s Veil and the problem never goes away. Being in blue, she also has access to protection (counter spells, blink, hexproof) to be an terror. Definately slept on
