nobody seems to understand this song, you have to imagine a nuclear weapon in actual use, while the guy is talking, he's getting ready to detonate, the repetitive nature is a musical representation of the mushroom cloud, as the song gets slower, the cloud just seems to get taller and wider without end, with destruction all around, the bomb doesn't care if you're bored by the simplicity of it, you're just dead.
