This will trigger a lot of haters. When I realized that Epitaph was signing emo rappers now, I knew that there were going to be lots of comments from angry old timers who can't move on. I couldn't be more right. Honestly we should accept the fact that artists/bands and record labels change. Epitaph is trying something new and signing new artists/bands in a different genre. And if I'm not wrong, they probably knew that there were going to be hate in the comments. If you don't like this genre of music, that's fine. I didn't like this kind of music a year ago. But I was able to accept that this is a new trend. If you don't like this kind of music from this label, go listen to the older music that they had in their label. I will give applause to Epitaph for trying something new. Because most punk labels or any label related to old nostalgia music are afraid to try something new. And Epitaph was one of those few nostalgia labels to try a risky shot that worked but didn't at the same time. Excuse me while I laugh at the hate in this comment thread.

Let's be real. If the beat was replaced with a band, this would sounds like a Silverstein era band. There's no difference in the lyrics. I'm hard pressed to even call this rap, because it's not. It's the new wave of pop punk. Definitely not what I grew up on, but I'm here for it. Excited to see how this shapes the future generations of rock/metal. In the same way that "scene kids" were the odd balls in 2005-2010...yet we shaped the new sound of pop/punk/core style music and is still a heavy influence today. YOUNG ARTISTS, don't be afraid to try something new and go outside of the box.

Been listening to him for a couple of years now and I'm happy to see this. Mostly listen to metal (architects, brand of sacrifice, the Acacia strain, etc) but I do enjoy style. Hopefully Familypet, Lil Lotus, and Shinigami get something with a large label as well.
