One of my favourite solos ever. He somehow finds a way to play with the listeners' expectations in terms of harmony - weaving in and out of consonance and dissonance. When taken out of context, certain phrases can sound totally unrelated to the underlying harmony, but he always finds a satisfying way to resolve. One of my favourite examples of this is from bars 53 to 57. He seems to be implying a sort of superimposed A major tonality, until he somehow resolves onto an outlined D minor triad.
