Zach Edey Throws Mady Sissoko

No foul was called on the shot to Tyson Walker's head, but Sissoko was called for getting hooked by Edey.

Edey rag-dolled him 🤣 glad he wasn’t hurt.

If you pause the video at the top of the jump you’ll see where the foul occurred. Edey goes straight up for the rebound and has both hands on the ball. Sissoko unintentionally hooks his arm into Edey’s, then gets taken for a ride.

If I’m drafting outside the top 15 then I’d take a chance on him. Keep this simple. The guy didn’t start playing basketball until the last 5 years. He’s 7’4, 295 and only 20. He may not even be done growing. Get him into a professional training program and carve out a little of that baby fat and add some muscle and he’d dominate in the post. Who cares if he can’t shoot 3’s? Give him the ball 15x a game and he’s going to fall into 20 points and 10 rebounds a game between the feeds and the easy put backs. He barely has to leave his feet to dunk and there aren’t too many guys that can handle his size. He absolutely would be a liability if asked to guard guys on the perimeter but on the right team (cough the Knicks) he could be a fit.

Edey did nothing wrong to call anything on him

Edey has both hands on the ball and M$U player pulled his hand off the ball...Immediate foul right there. Edey is fouled more than any player in NCAA but gets about 10% of the calls. It's a joke when I see posts like this after watching the assault and battery on Edey every game with barely a whistle to be heard.

Hook and hold flagrant 2 should have been called on Edey and then ejection. These refs just let him thug though. I don't believe Purdue won that game fairly.
