That was the first bracer I bought, within one month one of the fasteners was gone, just like the one in your video.

The store replaced it, then one of the fasteners went on the replacement, so I just do it up a different way.

hey greg, great review. talking about equipment, have you ever tried the 3rivers dura glove? i just bought one and i think i like it. a combination of a glove in the fit and a tab in the slickness of the release. the fingers are tipped with a synthetic material which makes the string just slip right out. pretty interesting. just figured I'd share with ya.

Thanks for the review.  This seems like a really nice leather armguard for a reasonable price.  I am sure a great many traditional archers would like the look.  Personally I am a bit more interested in function.  I found that I really do not have any need for a heavy, double thick leather armguard.  They are just too hot and sweaty in the summer.  My second pet peeve is the adjustability.  I might shoot one day outdoors in heavy clothing and the next day indoors wearing only a T shirt.  I want a guard that is easier to adjust.  If anyone finds the ideal guard that still looks "traditional", let me know.  I am still searching and for now am using guards I made myself.
