Pros and Cons of Keene, NH l Living in Keene, New Hampshire

Показать описание
Has Keene, New Hampshire come across as a city you have considered moving to, but you want to know a bit more about the city before calling it home. Well in today's video I am going to be going over 3 pros and 3 cons of living in Keene, NH.
Pros
1. Amenities - In this City you really have all the stores you need in a really condensed area which makes shopping easy. There are about 5 or 6 grocery stores so you really get to pick what your favorite is. We have TJ Maxx, Kohls, Sierra, HomeGoods, Home Depot, Dicks, Old Navy, Planet Fitness, just a ton of options.
2. Walkability - Keene is a great place to walk. Downtown is a great place to walk and explore. The City also has the Cheshire Rail trail that goes all throughout Keene and is awesome for walking the dogs or riding a bike. The full Rail Trail is almost 33 miles long, but it run through Keene so you can walk for basically as long as you want.
3. Keene does a lot of community events. They usually put something on in the common during each season, for the winter they have the Christmas tree lighting, they do an ice sculptures, the last few years have been doing taste of Keene, like a food festival, they'll have live bands out at the common.
Cons
1. Food, now don't get me wrong Keene has some great food. But they just don't offer a ton of different options and diversity in their food.
2. College Town this is a positive and negative, because of course having college kids here make our economy better but the downsides are just certain places get more packed when school is in. Like some bars in town and the gym.
3. Rotatories now these are a love hate relationship. When I first moved here I was not a fan of rotatories but they have grown on me and I love them now. But if you are new to town and to rotatories you might hate them at first and wonder why Keene has an obsession with them. But they actually work very well .
