In writing my own music I am surprised of the content that is created. Being a saxophonist who mostly plays covers tunes and studied jazz in college, I was utterly surprised in the fact that none of the music I was creating sounded like the music I’ve studied and play mostly at my gigs. In my music I hear a lot of influences from country, blues, soul, jazz, and even rock. This track represents the things I have within me that I’ve never notice. Implanted in me through my ancestors, rearing, and my appreciation for all music. My album art work paints a pretty good idea of what I see when I reflect on my own creations. A open field, farm land, hills, the fall season, and peaceful country lifestyle.
