I'm Cantor today for our 10 am Mass and this is our Dismissal hymn. 😊

This was one of the hymns that I chose for my mother's funeral Mass. The Gospel was from Matthew 5 and the Beatitudes portion of Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, and this was the natural choice. Our choir does a great job with this hymn, and I just love that descant!

Loved this song, use to sing it in school. I sang it not that long ago in mass as a cantor/choir Unfortunately my local archdiocese has banned David haas songs.

I really needed to hear this, Chris! I lost a friend to suicide a few days ago. He knew I have not been as devout as I once was. He would reach out to me occasionally on social media and give me things to think about and discern. God bless and be with you!!
