Taking into account the total disaster that we have with Brexit, the Tories in government for over a decade and Johnson as PM, you have to think that some of the yoons must actually be finding some gratification in Scotland's suffering. Really, how much worse could it get?

Sturgeon is absolutely right about having a mandate for a new referendum. The Voters gave it to her, and before the last referendum, they were told by the Tories that if they voted to leave the UK, they'd have to leave the EU as well, making IndyRef1 also a referendum on leaving the EU. Scotland voted to stay in the EU but were taken out against their will by the English.

England is on the road to economic disaster and Scotland would do well to leave them to it as quickly as possible.

Sturgeon is keeping her fingers crossed Johnson refuses sec 30 , Sturgeon thinks that’ll get her out of a hole because she knows she’ll lose, lose and her dream that was never going to be is finished, end this woman’s insanity now.

Don't worry. Almost everything will be fine as soon as the Tories take us back to imperial measurements. It would be just perfect, of course, if they also reverted to £sd money rather than decimal. The yoons should bend Johnson's ear to add that to his Tory plans.

Bill passed then question asked. What's so hard to understand about that?

So indyref#2 won't now be in 2023, but a date for it might come before the end of Nicola's record 3rd term as FM, in May 2026.
To presumably be held within the first half of her 4th term as FM, going by the timetable we had for indyref#1.
Between the autumn of 2028 or spring of 2029?

Providing Westminster gives its permission first, so that everything here will be all legal & binding.
