So refreshing to hear two of my favorite podcasters from ‘supposedly’ opposite poles discussing and learning from each other without rancor. I write ‘supposedly’ because Catholics and scientists both seek the same end-truth. As a Catholic, I enjoy listening and learning from Edify. During the Covid years especially, I was grateful to come across Heather and Bret’s DarkHorse podcast. Their refusal to give in to the madness kept me sane during a very dark time. Kudos to both these women.

I am a graduate of Evergreen (MPA '10). It was a unique place and not at first crazy, but that started changing in the 21st Century. Ironically, my time there helped me on my way to Catholicism. Thanks to Weinstein and Heying for staying intellectually honest. In response to the faith question, we also have a friend who embraced Eastern Orthodoxy through her classes at Evergreen.

How refreshing to listen to an intelligent conversation about the state of our higher education system. Oh how I wish more people could be exposed to the truth about what has happened to our schools.
This conversation has reminded me to take the time to think about what is being spewed out to us by our government and media.
I feel even more suspicious of what we are being fed on a daily basis.
The wisdom of our constitution keeps showing up time after time.

Their new awareness made me realize that it is not the level of intelligence that is the reason for attack but their ability to stand by their intelligence and their conviction that peers may not be anything more than an agenda under the guise of academia.

The first thing the new Republic government did was to start work around of the Constitution, it is too restrictive for politicians. Rather like the Catholic Church is too restrictive for a lot of other people. I think The Emperor has been naked for a lot longer than anyone wants to admit.

We are fast becoming a very polygamists Society, divorce and remarriage are polygamous, numerous sex partners are polygamous and we have a lot of that in both male female, male male and female female, and neuter.

I don't think may people actually understand what Free Will and Freedom actually is. I know now that Free Will means there are choices and we make choices all the time and no one can keep us from making choices so we have Free Will however there are those who will punish us for some of our choices so we can be restricted and not be Free if we make our choices against those who disagree. We are no longer free to make choices that disagree with our politicians with out some kind of punishment.
