If you were born or raised in the United States, please listen. Travel abroad, experience the world through your own eyes and not the media or the internet but your own perspective. You will finally create your own opinion on what the United States is and not what they tell you.

4:14 "America uses its power to advance human rights"? What a load of bs.

The US is following the roadmap of the fall of rome, high debasement of currency, internal social issues, and large military failures and overspending on said military

this completely misses the point of why Americans feel we are on the decline: apart from foreign policy and domestic political division, living/housing/food costs keep increasing while wages stagnate and there is less and less of a safety net for the average worker.

These guys are clueless. Today it was published that .1% of the population owns more than the entire middle class. Violence is rising dramatically. The country is on life support.

Even as an american, I would love to at least see our military decline. Aside from the millions of wasted lives and trillions of dollars, our government seeming to think it knows what's best for other countries is really disgusting and anti-democratic imo.

Decline is too modest word

Im 21. And I will, like many others in my generation, see this country completely collapse, and desolve. Nothing will change my mind of that

All empires eventually stagnate, have divided internal struggles, then decline, then new ones rise up then decline again etc. It's just the way it is 😌

The US is in precipitous decline - all due to internal dysfunction.

If you were middle class in America you would have known the answer to this question over a 20 years ago. Yes. The disparity between the wealthy and everyone else is unreal and still growing. Government is ineffective at solving the problem, most people won't face the problem because that requires base understanding of policy. Most people my age (36) can't afford a home if there are even any for sale. Everyone is swimming in debt. We are capitalism run amok with a military budget easily twice what it should be. Meanwhile our social services are terrible compared to every other wealthy country.

During times of bad economy, blame a foreign power. In this case - China. This type of thinking is actually insane, as we have a great chance of recovering IF WE FOCUS ON DOING BETTER DOMESTICALLY. But no, let's us fund the MIC more and blame others. My history teacher once said, "when you point at someone, three fingers point back at you". We need to ignore all this fear-mongering and focus on our infrastructure, our education, and our own people.

When the US' status as a developed nation came into question, this question became obsolete. The question is how long it has been in decline and how far it has fallen.

"At the end of a dynasty there often appears some show of power giving the impression that the dynasty's senility has been made to disappear. It lights up brilliantly just before it is extinguished, like a candle which leaps up brilliantly just before it is put out."

Would America stop genocide if occurring now? Ummm Syria, Libya, Yemen. I would say a resounding no.
