So this is probably my new favorite worth it episode. I'd like to point out a few things that made this episode particularly awesome:
-Full meals instead of single dishes: An experience that is generally much more comprehensive in a restaurant, as many places design their menus around the way different courses play with each other. I would definitely love to see more episodes with them in the future!
-Tasting menus: I know they're expensive, but the best restaurants out there make some insane tasting menus with all kinds of crazy flavors, textures and presentations in every dish. Seeing the crew experience one like this was awesome!
-Andrew as a host: I freaking love Andrew. He's such a chill, honest guy who is awesome at taking the lead when it comes to these interviews with the chefs. More of him, please!
-The ending with the coffee: Very heart-warming and family like way to end the episode. I wish more episodes would finish like this!
-And finally: The detour at The Cheesery. You guys have already done detours like this one in the past, but I felt like this time there was a bigger focus on that detour and I honestly loved it!

All in all, awesome episode, please do more like this one:)

I like how Wolfgang Puck just casually shows up. Well, yeah it's his restaurant, but I didn't expect him to come up just like that.

These restuarants are like a Weekly, Monthly, Yearly endeavor. El Cocinito you could eat at once a week. A go to joint. Alta Adams is a monthly treat that you splurge on with, not too often but something to really look forward too. And Spagos' is the Anniversary/Celebration place you go for that special event of the year. Some meals in your life are so good that you NEVER forget them and they change the way you experience food for the rest of your life.

I love how Adam makes the effort of dressing nice whenever they go to the really fancy restaurants. Andrew and Steve always look out of place in their t-shirts and hoodies.

I really like how creative the high end restaurant, Spago, was. It really felt like less they were just paying for expensive ingredients and more having a private showcasing of these artists' works. You can tell each dish has a lot of thought and care put into them from the taste to the presentation to how they work with the other dishes. She even found a way to make the S'moyster work. That feels like the kind of experience I'd want to have if I were to spend that much on a meal.

I love how Andrew manages to justify the full 3 course meal as necessary for eating dessert, with a straight face.
I wonder how the budget pitch went.

I love how Andrew was begrudgingly wrangled into doing this series when Keith Habersberger stepped down, and now he's the primary host thanking Steven for joining him.

I feel like they’ve reached the peak as foodies, where they can just casually catch up with Wolfgang Puck about the dessert they’re eating in his restaurant.

The pineapple coconut upside cake was so imaginative was amazing to see with the unison of flavors and textures. The last fine dining place was insane, the vision, inspiration and effort was all combined with such expertise it looked so worth it to visit there.

The first spot when Dan said that grandma didn’t have recipes. She just knew “this is how high you fill the pot” my soul smiled! That is the most adorable thing I’ve heard!

I like that they ate meals at the restaurants before they ate the desserts because that is the true way to enjoy a dessert

The Child like wonder with which Andrew described the dessert to Wolfgang Puck was just too cute. It was like a child running up to grandad going guess we did at school today and unloading all the info while grandad just smiled. Y'all are too wholesome.
